Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
Trekking Duration: 12 days Grade: Moderate
This is the most popular and famous trek in Nepal. It is more distinct than any other treks by its variety of people, rich culture, beautiful landscapes and natural scenery. This trek lends you to north west of Pokhara through an ancient trek to Tibet across glaciers, gorges and waterfalls. From the Annapurna Base Camp you will have a close look of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhre.

Annapurna SanctuaryAt the final destination the Annapurna sanctuary (Base camp 4200m.) will be welcoming you patiently. Local inhabitants have treasured the Annapurna Sanctuary as a place of spiritual refuge since long before trekkers "discovered" it. A natural amphitheatre, ringed by Annapurna south 7219m. and I, Varahashikhar7847m, Gangapurna 7485m. and Machhapuchhre 6993m, it serves as base camp for Peak Climbing as well as favourite trek destination for mountain lovers. Beginning in Pokhara, you'll climb to Naudanda (1,463 meters) and gain elevation slowly through.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu-drive to Pokhara (7 hours) and overnight in hotel
Day 02 Pokhara-drive to Nayapul (1 hours) and trek to Tikedhunga (4 hrs) and overnight in teahouse.
Day 03 Tikedhunga trek to Ghorepani (7 hours) and overnight in teahouse.
Day 04 Ghorepani hike early morning to poon hill (View point) (1 hrs), trek down to ghorepani and trek to Tadapani (6 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 05 Tadapani trek to Chhomorung (7 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 06 Chhomorung trek to Himalaya (6 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 07 Himalaya trek to Machhapuchere Base camp (5 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 08 Machhapuchere Base camp trek to Annapurna base camp (2 hrs) and overnight in teahouse.
Day 09 Annapurna Base camp trek to Bamboo (7 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 10 Bamboo trek to Jhinuwa Danda (Hot spring) (5 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 11 Jhinuwa Danda trek to Ghandruk (5 hrs) and overnight in teahouse
Day 12 Ghandruk trek to Nayapul (4 hrs) and drive to Pokhara (1 hrs), End of the trek.

Cost includes: All meals (Breakfast/lunch/dinner with tea\coffee), accommodation in Camp, a guide, sleeping bag, down jackets, ground transportation, entry permits, all necessaries for Nepalese staffs (all meals, accommodation in tea houses, equipments, insurance etc).

Cost excludes: Any bar bills (alcoholic drinks, mineral water, cold drinks), cigarettes, clients personal insurance, personal insurance, personal equipments, flight tickets (Pokhara to Kathmandu) for clients, rescue charge, any kind of unforeseen expenses etc.

Note: * The departure schedule can be change on any unavoidable circumstances such as weather hazards, natural changes of walking track, road slides, and avalanches, public strikes.
