Rafting in Kaligandaki River
Named after the
much-revered Goddess Kali and descending from
the deepest gorge in Asia, this fabulous river offers a
mixture of astounding mountain views and pure adrenaline
with a full immersion into the wilderness.
Along the way you will encounter culture at its simplest.
If you're lucky, traditional Magar and Chetri villagers
will venture down to the riverbank to witness your journey
through the remote mountain wilderness of Nepal. It is two
days driving and 3 days rafting starting from and to Pokhara
Itineary

Three hours bus
drive to Nayapul, Baglung. Pump the raft and rafting
around 3 ½ hours. Camp nearby Modibeni. |

02 |
Rafting about 4 hours
and camp at Purtighat. |
| Day 03 |
Rafting about 2 ½
hours ends at Mirmi Dam and after lunch transfer to
Pokhara by Minibus. |

Cost includes:
Rafting permit, Land transportation, Rafting equipment,
3 times meal a day (Breakfast, Lunch, dinner), Two men Tents,
Mattresses, dining tent, Table and seating chairs Sleeping
bag, Life jacket, rafting guide and cook and cooking gears.
Cost excludes:
Personal expenses, Medicine, Helicopter rescue, air fare,
insurance.
